5 Home Decor DIY Ideas: Punch Needle Art, Macrame Wall Hanging, Planter Stand and Boho Pillow

In this week's tutorial, I have 5 Easy DIY home decor projects that you can create using macrame string, fabric ribbon, chunky velvet yarn, canvas board from your local craft store! This week, I will show you how to create an abstract art wall hanging using a needle punch on burlap! Also, I will show you how to create faux painted arches to dress up a fireplace or a small wall space for a dramatic effect. Next, I will show you how to create a Boho macrame wall hanging using wood, macrame and fabric dyes! After that, I will show you how to create a Boho style throw pillow using Ikea (Hillared) pillow covers, macrame string to create a fringe! Lastly! I will show you how to create an easy Boho wooden planter stand and planter box that you can dress up a room with a splash of chic!

Planter Box and Stand Materials and Measurements:

Raw Materials (For 1 Planter Stand and Planter box)

2- 1.5”x1.5”x 8ft pine/spruce wood (planter Stand)
4- 12”x 12”x 3/4”inch pine board (planter box sides)
1- 12”x 12”x 1/4”inch ply wood (planter box base)
Wood screws 11/4” inches long
Wood glue
Metal 90 degree corner brackets (optional or use a pocket screw jig)

Planter Stand wood cuts:

Legs:
4-30” inch cut length (1.5”x1.5”x 8ft wood)

Planter cross beam:
1-12” inch cut length (1.5”x1.5”x 8ft wood)
2-5.5” inch cut length (1.5”x1.5”x8ft wood)

Planter Box wood cuts:

2-11.5” width x12” height x 3/4” pine boards (to form a box)
2-10” width x12” height x 3/4” pine boards (to form a box smaller to compensate sides)
1-12” x 12” x 1/4” ply wood (planter box base)
