"Humanisation" is the first installment in a series of planned artistic collaborations between Nicholas Gartner and Thomas L. Bigelow.

The main focus of the film is to attempt to portray the beauty and fragility of nature by exploring the destructive aspects of humanity.

The visuals within the film comprise a mash up of footage cut from various open source documentaries, films, and internet videos, notably David Attenboroughs "A life on our planet", Carl Jungs' "Matter of Heart" and the non narrative Qatsi Trilogy films.

The film has been cut and edited to fit an original ambient music score created by Thomas; who produces music under the alias "Local Florist".
